GENERATION 2
Thomas BROWN was born about 1691 in England to Thomas and Ann BROWN. He died about 1750 in Frederick County, Virginia. Thomas married Ruth LARGE who was born in 1702 in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, on September 5th, 1723 in Pennsylvania. The children of Thomas and Ruth BROWN were, Sarah, William, Thomas, Elizabeth, Samuel, Deborah, Frances, Ruth and Joseph BROWN.
GENERATION 3
William BROWN was born on November 16th, 1726 in Bucks County, Pennsylvania to Thomas and Ruth BROWN, and died about 1800 in North Carolina. William married Hannah MOON (See MOON page) on February 4th, 1747/48 in Cane Creek, Orange County, North Carolina. The children of William and Hannah BROWN were, Thomas, Samuel, William, Hannah, Richard, Sarah, Mary, Ebunezar, Anne, Joseph, Deborah and Joel BROWN.
GENERATION 4
Joel BROWN was born on January 29th, 1769 in Orange County, North Carolina to William and Hannah BROWN, and died May 5th, 1857 in Russell County, Kentucky. He married Martha "Patsy" Unknown. Their children were Rebecca (Fitzpatrick) BROWN (See Cloda WILSON Page) and Christina BROWN.
GENERATION 5
Christina BROWN was born about 1810 in North Carolina to Joel and Martha Patsy BROWN. Christina married Sampson HOPPER (See HOPPER page) on August 20th, 1829 in Russell County, Kentucky. The child of Christina and Sampson HOPPER that pertains to this line is Lucy Ann HOPPER.
GENERATION 6
Lucy Ann HOPPER was born about 1840 in Russell County, Kentucky to Sampson and Christina HOPPER and died unknown. Lucy married Sampson WILSON (See WILSON page) on October 30th, 1856 in Russell County, Kentucky. The marriage was performed by Moses Harkness WILSON. The children of Lucy Ann and Sampson WILSON, were William R, Cyrus M, Squire Marcus, Celeste, Christeeny M, Electia, General and Moses Samson (Bud) WILSON (See WILSON page). Sampson was a farmer by occupation.
