He was married to Pamelia MILAM about 1815 in Hickman County, Tennessee. Pamelia was born in 1790 in Tennessee or North Carolina and died after 1860, possibly in Arkansas. The children of William RAGSDALE and Pamelia MILAM were: Jefferson Elija, Moses, John, Caroline, Benjamin, Permelia, Sarah, Francis and Dicey Jane RAGSDALE.
